Raine's  Story

Embark on a journey through the  beginning of Raine's baking. Discover the passion, dedication, and unique flavors that make her creations a truly special experience.

You never know were your talent can go!

The story begins with Raine's earliest memories at the tender age of nine, when she first experimented with "no-bake cookies" from her very first recipe book, which she still cherishes. These early culinary adventures in the basement kitchen of her Canton, Ohio home ignited a lifelong passion for baking.

Raine's journey took a significant turn in 1988 when she moved from Fort Lauderdale back to Canton, Ohio, to welcome her son, Tye. To earn extra income, she began baking cut-out cookies in her mother’s home. As orders poured in from the hospital where she and Tye were born—and where her mother worked as a nurse—her culinary talents truly began to shine. The constant stream of requests from nurses and doctors quickly became overwhelming.

After the holiday season, Raine returned to South Florida with her little one and explored other opportunities. She eventually opened two small bakeries in Pompano Beach, Florida, learning valuable lessons through trial and error. One bakery was not a storefront, while the other was, leading her to believe that her business thrived best away from traditional retail locations.

As time went on, Raine and Tye relocated to Celebration, Florida, a charming town created by Disney. The town had just opened a new high school that Tye was fortunate enough to attend. During their time there, Raine embraced a new challenge: competing in the National Pie Championship. Her extraordinary skills earned her a feature on the ABC show "Life Moments" and surprisingly  on the Food Network. Her entry, the "Celebration Cheese Pie," named after their delightful town, won both First Place and Best in Show. Over the years, Raine continued to compete in the APC/Crisco National Pie competition, amassing 13 ribbons, primarily in first place. The event was filmed for many years and aired on Food Network, Discovery Channel & The Hallmark Channel.

Raine's resume is impressive, showcasing her years of expertise in food and beverage quality management and eight years of customer service experience at Disney World, and her journey as a business owner.

Raine was later invited to participate in the World Food Championships alongside a friend, where they proudly placed in the top 23 under the DESSERT category.

Some of Raine's recipes have been published in magazines, hardcover books, and shared online, further showcasing her culinary talent.

What to expect

For Raine, the most fulfilling part of baking is witnessing the joy on people's faces as they savor her creations. "I love being able to watch people try the cookies; it assures me my work is "All that," she shares. She hopes that every bite from her recipe creations brings you a moment of pure delight, comfort, and sweet satisfaction, a true reflection of the passion and care baked into every treat. Some even bring back memories.

Raine states that in this time of her life she is baking to share joy, be one of the best and just enjoy sharing smiles in her retirement. "It is not about being overwhelmed busy, I have done that and learned how to limit orders taken" Raine says. I learned many "stepping stones" over the years. So I just hope for a happy baking experience and a very happy customer!
